D-Marin, which implemented procedures in line with international standards as part of pandemic measures, has earned the “Safe Tourism Certificate.” D-Marin has thus become one of the first companies to eliminate the negative effects of the pandemic and meet its guests' high hygiene and safety expectations.
D-Marin, which implemented high-level measures to protect the health of both its employees and guests at the beginning of the pandemic, has achieved another first by earning the “Safe Tourism Certificate.”.
Inspections carried out at D-Marin's facilities in Göcek, Turgutreis, and Didim revealed that D-Marin meets all requirements.
The certification requires maritime tourism facilities to appoint a manager to oversee the entire process of meeting guest expectations, prepare protocols for all departments, ensure staff training on these matters, implement effective hygiene, disinfection, and social distancing measures, and complete processes to reduce COVID-19 transmission risks.
Certificate covering businesses that have obtained an Operating or Investment Certificate from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and businesses deemed appropriate by the Ministry; Ministry of Health, Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Scientific Committee of the Ministry of Health, World Health Organization (WHO), the Public Health Law, Law No. 5996 on Veterinary Services, Plant Health, Food and Feed, TSE 13811 Hygiene and Sanitation Management Systems, and national and international health and tourism sector application examples.
