Caterpillar Marine introduced the new Cat® C32B marine engine, a high-performance 2000 HP (2025 MHP) engine with a 2300 rpm motor speed.
Caterpillar's new marine engine meets emerging market demands and increases the power capacity of the high-performance C32 series by %5.
Customers familiar with the current C32 engine will find a similar appearance and similar connection points in the new model. The new Cat® C32B will have the same emission certifications as the current C32 high-performance engines, including EPA Tier 3 Recreational and IMO II. Additional advantages include an improved unit injector fuel system to reduce noise and vibration caused by combustion, and a renewed electronic (ADEM 6 ECM) system.
As Borusan Cat, we are very excited to continue offering our customers more power with the C32B engine, while also reducing engine noise and ensuring excellent engine performance and reliability. We are confident that the new version of the proven C32 engine will offer our customers opportunities in both new construction and main engine refurbishment projects, and will deliver CAT quality to them to the fullest. The Cat C32B marine engine will be available for order in the fall of 2020.
